CURRENTS OF CONCERN
Phil Dadson
An estuary dweller and keen observer of tidal variations, Dadson’s meditations on waterways reveal a multi-layered perception of fragile ecosystems, thinly veiled by mesmerising surfaces and reflections both audio and visual.
DRIFT
Bruce Foster
Bruce Foster photographs the New Zealand coastline in an ongoing study of human histories and the environment intersecting. In his latest photographic series Drift he returns to the sand spit at the mouth of the Mangawhai estuary he first photographed in the late 1970s to research environmental changes that have taken place over the last 800 years.
PLASTIC GODS
Ole Maiava and Paula Schaafhausen
Plastic Gods is a collaborative exhibition by Paula Schaafhausen and Ole Maiava. Together they explore global warming and spiritual iconography through sculpture, photography and poetry.
