Air quality scientist Elizabeth Somervell talks about our air – what we do to it and what it does to us and how air quality and climate change are two sides of the same coin.
Dr. Elizabeth Somervell is an air quality scientist working with NIWA and a member of the Air Team who have created O Tū Kapua, my personal cloud for ºTEMP. She specialises in urban meteorology and air quality and holds a PhD in urban air quality modelling from the University of Hertfordshire. Since joining NIWA six years ago, Elizabeth has been involved in a range of air quality projects, including the NZTA’s Roadside Project, Auckland CBD’s PENAP campaign and Resilient Urban Futures.
